Back in action

Mt. Pleasant traveled to Bay City for a rematch of an earlier season loss to the Wolves in the Thanksgiving tournament.

Bay City outshot the oilers 30-12 and outscored the Oilers 5-1. The lone bright spot for the Oilers was a goal by Max Heeke with an assist going to Robert Backus.

The Oilers played a little sluggish and seemed to be affected a little by the long layoff.

They have to turn it around as they travel up to Gladwin Friday night to take on the Storm from Mid Michigan.
